Hans Spaan attempting to punch Fausto Gresini during the 1990 125cc Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island.
Hans Spaan was 2 points behind Loris Capirossi coming into the final round at Phillip Island, who was in turn 7 points behind championship leader Stefan Prein. Prein dropped mid pack during the race and it became clear that the championship was either going to go to Capirossi, whod pulled a 3 second lead ahead of a group containing his main rival Spaan, along with the Italian mafia of Casanova, Gresini and Romboni.
The Italian mafia were playing quite dirty against Hans Spaan in an attempt to give Capirossi the championship. After Gresinis blocking at Southern Loop (depicted in the video), Spaan decided hed had enough, taking his hand off the throttle to try and punch Gresini on the way down to the kink before Honda Corner. 125s, where the men are sorted from the boys!
