Experience the sheer terror of a high-speed disaster as my motorcycle
chain snapped at nearly 300 km/h!

Let me explain what happened: I discovered it after removing a few parts to inspect for further damage.

The chain snapped because the safety link wasn't properly
secured for the entire 5 months I've had the bike!

My mistake was neglecting to check its condition even once, assuming
it was fine since it looked almost new from the previous owner.

The damage includes some carbon parts, scratches on the swingarm, rear pegs, and the Ohlins gas bottle.

Nevertheless, my gear saved my life. I felt a sharp pain in my leg when the chain broke, and in the adrenaline rush, I feared the worst, but thankfully, it was just a minor burn!
