These are my first laps on a 1000cc machine on a racetrack ever. Racecamp-Events made it possible to try the new Honda CBR 1000 RR-R 2020. As you can see I am not riding very fast neither good with the bike, but I still want to share this experience with you.
Riding this bike felt way too easy compared to my 2009 R6 :D I am not used to tracktion control, anti wheelie neither a blipper. The handling was easy, the feedback was great and the bike was very stable in all conditions. Too bad the bike was in track mode and not in race mode. The throttle input was too soft and the power started at 9k rpm. Also I think the quiet exhaust for the Sachsenring removed quite some power. I would love to ride it again with less electronics on :)
My sound setup was installed on the R6, so this onboard sound is crap.
