World first test of the Suzuki GSX-R1000 K9

MCN's Michael Neeves has been testing the new 2009 Suzuki GSX-R1000 in southern Spain. Neeves found that the new bike is a big improvement over the old K7/K8 model, but it's not the giant leap forward we expected.

"The Suzuki ticks all the boxes, it's better than the old K7/K8. But for me, it's not different enough to really get me salivating."
"Maybe it's just that Honda and Yamaha have moved the game on so much with the Fireblade and R1."
