BMW Motorrad shows a concept for a Left Turn Assistant during their BMW Motorrad Innovation Day 2011. The system uses cameras, vehicle controls and communicates with other vehicles to determine when a vehicle is turning left and if a collision is possible. If so, the system warns both driver and rider, increases illumination and can automatically stop the left turning car.
